Chapter 10: The Beginning of Always Next Day – Coffee Shop in Adyar Anaya waited calmly, her fingers wrapped around a warm cup. Across from her sat Rohit, smug and confident. “So,” he said, “what will you do to stop me from leaking those photos? Or should I forward them to the press and Suresh Realty’s competitors?” Anaya smiled, steady. “You really think I’m scared of losing now?” His smirk faltered. “I’ve already faced worse than your games. I ran away once—but not because I was weak. I walked out because I finally became strong.” She placed her phone on the table, screen up. A recording app had been running since he sat down. “Blackmail. Threats. All recorded.” His face paled. “If you ever message me or anyone I love again, I’ll take this to the police—and trust me, I have witnesses and a lawyer who’d love to take you down.” She stood, calm and powerful. “Game over, Rohit.” --- Evening – Suresh Villa Karthik opened the door to see her standing there, wind tugging her dupatta, eyes shining. “It’s done,” she said simply. He stepped aside and pulled her into a hug so fierce it knocked the air out of her. “You did it,” he whispered. “No,” she replied. “We did it.” --- Six Months Later – Beachside Wedding The waves crashed gently, friends and family laughed in the background, and white orchids danced in the salty breeze. Anaya walked down the aisle barefoot, just the way she’d always imagined—as herself. Karthik stood waiting, a boy who once teased her in a college corridor, now the man she trusted with her whole heart. As they exchanged vows, there were no promises of perfection—just of presence. Of patience. Of peace. --- Final Scene – One Year Later They sat on their small balcony, coffee in hand, city lights blinking like stars. She leaned into him. “You know what I used to believe?” “What?” “That love was meant to hurt a little. Meant to test us.” “And now?” “Now I know—real love doesn’t test you. It holds you. Even when the world falls apart.” He kissed her forehead. “We’ll build that world back, every time.” She smiled. Together, they had rewritten what love looked like. --- The End.
