What! Why does Grammy have to embarrass me in front of my boss? I look at Trent and see him smiling at Grammy. Why is he smiling at her? I'm sure she just said that because Trent is not white. Told you she's racist. She keeps insisting how white men are not for coloured women like us. Bla. Bla. Bla. "Grammy, this is my boss, Trent." I introduce her feeling a little bit embarrassed. "Trent, my grandma..." Grammy grins at Trent and winks. "Call me Grammy boy..." then she pauses. "How is a young man like you my baby's boss?" Trent is looking down at her since Grammy is short. "Because I'm rich." Grammy laughs and I don't find that funny. I shuffle for keys in my bag and open the door. "Thanks for the drive," I tell Trent. "See ya'," he waves at me but Grammy grips his hand.
