Miles was sitting brushing Laurie’s hair as his father’s spoke with Illan and Destrain. He didn’t understand how his fathers had found him, or how they knew about him and his mates. They had all been so busy finishing up with the children then eating dinner with everyone and settling down that he hadn’t remembered to ask them earlier. What if they expected him to return with them to their home? Would they expect Dallas and Baxter to leave their lives and go live with him in the caves? And what about Laurie? Would they expect him to give her up, because that s**t just wasn’t happening. Miles loved his mates. He loved his new home. He loved Laurie. He loved his new life. He didn’t want to go back.
