Chapter 6 Logan waited in the front car park for Hana to finish work. He kept the radio on but didn’t listen to the blather of the guest speaker. The unmarked cop car slid past the gate and Logan raised his middle finger at the face peering at him from the passenger window. It didn’t reappear. Running a tired hand over his stubble, his mind switched to memories of a skinny, olive toned child who had crumbled beneath the odds stacked against him. “Geez, Tama,” he breathed. “Why am I surprised?” Reaching for his phone, he dialled Liza’s number.
