~Jaylene~ I let out a shaky breath as I walk into the school building. This has proven to be harder than I thought it would be, but it has to be done. I asked for a meeting with the principal with the purpose of resigning. I can’t allow my father to ruin me. “The principal will see you now.” I called this morning to make sure I could get in to see the principal. I was going to wait until after hours, but I wanted the opportunity to see my kids one last time if possible. I don’t even know why I want to see them. It will be devastating to have to say goodbye, but I can’t imagine keeping to myself. I called a share ride to get to school. I figure that if I’m able to say goodbye, I won’t be in the right headspace to drive myself back home. Amber went into work, so she couldn’t be my chauff
