I stood there looking puzzled, was he trying to pull my legs or was he actually serious?
“What do you mean I should choose?”
“ I know you aren't deaf,” he shouted. His voice was so loud I was sure the security man would hear it.
“Don't shout at her” Chloe fired back at him angrily “ I'll leave”
How could Chloe make a decision without asking if I was okay with it? I felt a wave of disappointment.
I wasn't disappointed in her but rather in myself. I was the older one, but I couldn't stand to protect her.
Chloe stormed out of the kitchen, and went straight into the room.
