Mila’s POV
Oliver has just gotten to the apartment from the warehouse and Ella was exhausted, she had been trying to stay awake to see her daddy but ended up falling asleep so I took her to bed and tucked her in.
“She really loves you.” I said to Oliver while picking my things up to make my way to the warehouse.
“She loves you already too.” Oliver said and I smile.
“In my life I would have done everything to have a father who would have looked after me like you look after Ella.” I said and the memories of my childhood started flashing before my eyes but for once I ignored them and brushed them off because there’s nothing that can change all the abuse I went through.
