The Ruthless One

Episode 3

When going down to the cells the crying filled my ears so I decided to go check on the guy first, I may be heartless as some like to call me but I’m not that bad, sometimes.

“Wanna tell me your name?” I asked as calmly as I could seeing the guy wipe the tears from his eyes I finally saw his face clearly.

“Jacob.” He answered.

“What your second name Jacob.” 

“Henry.” He answered again.

“Kid how old are you.” I asked realising that he looked young, some of his features still not matured.

“15.” He answered.

“Alright kid, I don’t wanna harm you because you seem innocent, just tell me who stole my pen drive.” I asked nicely.

“I can’t.” He said, damn he’d been doing so well, I really don’t wanna torture him for answers.

“It was me.” I heard from the cell just next to the one I was in.”

“Alright kid, I’ll leave you be because you were trying to protect your friend there, I gotta give it to you at least your loyal.” Some people might of thought he was just faking but I could tell he wasn’t that’s why I let him be.

I got out and said to my member,

“Give him some nice food and water will you.” I said quietly.

“Yes boss.” Then he was off.

Mila’s POV 

I heard him talking to Jacob I was about to tell him to get away from my brother when I heard his calm voice asking him simple questions so I kept quiet, when he asked who’d stolen from his and Jacob didn’t say it was me I new it wasn’t gonna end pretty, I know all of the stories about him he’s a monster and no one lie or not tell him something because if you do you’ll be dead in a couple of seconds, if not dead then tortured for his entertainment.

Back to Oliver’s POV

After my member can back with the food and water I walked back into Jacobs cell and asked,

“Is this good.” 

“Is that for me?” He said confused.

“Yeah you hungry?” I asked.

“Starving.” He answered and actually dived into the burger, making me wonder when had been the last time this kid ate.

“When was the last time you ate something.” I asked curious.

“Maybe 3 days ago we don’t have much food and so we can’t eat all the time.” He answered his mouth full of food, ok I know I may be ruthless but my sister always taught me that some deserve our care.

“Alright Jacob I’m gonna check on the girl in the next cell.” I said then left.

“Name.” I asked walking in.

“Mila.” She answered.

“Mila what.” I asked, not as nicely to her because I knew she’d been the one who stollen from me.

“Mila Henry.” She answered.

“Age.” 

“19.” She answered yet again.

“Why did you steal from me.” I asked.

“I had my reasons.” She said annoyed.

“I asked for why.” I roared.

“I needed the money.” She finally answered.

“Well that doesn’t cut it.” I said getting pissed.

“Where is my pen drive.” I asked getting even more pissed.

“I don’t have it.” She mumbled.

“You’ve heard about me, don’t even try lie to me.” I ranged.

“I’m not.” She said annoyed but with sincerity in her voice.

“Where is it then.” I said trying to calm down before I killed her and I need answers.

“I was supposed to sell it to my ex’s boss but he backstabbed me and took it.” She answered crossing her arms over leaning against the wall.

“I’m sure you know how to get it back.” I said taking deep breaths.

“Why should I help you.” She cheeked.

“Because we don’t want your dear brother in the next cell to suffer because of your actions.” I said evilly.

“You wouldn’t.” She screamed.

“Oh but I would.” I said calmly somehow being able to keep my temper under control.

“Ok I’ll help you but I have one condition, after you let me join your gang and we aren’t staying down here.” She said.

“Why the fuck.” 

“Actually I don’t care.”

“Alright deal.”

“Where are you going.” She asked as I headed out.

“You better be careful that mouth will get you in trouble, but I’m going to tell them to set you up a room.” I said.

“What about my brother.” She asked.

“He’s been up in a room the past 15 minutes we’ve been talking, by the way don’t even think about trying any s**t there’s gonna be supervision on you 24/7.”
