Episode 10

After getting back my pen drive i kept my promise and let Mila join the gang and she’s only does small jobs for me for now but soon I want to get her into marketing her brother Jacob has also joined the gang after 2 months of Alex teaching him how to fight and shoot he really improved and has deemed himself worthy.

However even after everything that we had trained and worked all our lives nothing could have prepared Alex and I for when Sofia arrived at the warehouse unexpectedly.

“Mum!” Alex said in shock which caused me to turn around so fast I nearly broke my neck.

“Sof.” I said unsure of how to deal with situation that was about to unfold.

“Hello Olly.” Sofia said and came over to me and gave me a tight hug.

“Now you young lady.” She turned her attention to Alex.

“I know mum.” Alex said ashamed.

“No you don’t know, your father and I gave you our trust to come visit your uncle, a visit that was supposed to last 2 weeks and lasted 2 months and a half.” Sofia screamed.

“And not only that but you don’t even warn me you’re staying longer.” Sofia continued, you could her the sadness and disappointment in her voice.

“Wait...what!” 

“Alex you told me you told your mum.” I said confused.

“And you lied to your uncle, what’s going on Alex, Diego misses you, your dad misses you.” Sofia said

“I missed you.” She added quietly as a tear fell down her cheek.

“I’m sorry mum.” Alex said and went over to Sofia and hugged her and they both just stood there hugging while I stood there awkwardly, not a normal thing for me to do.

I decided to leave and give Sofia and Alex some privacy to talk because they need after all...that.

“Jacob you in?” I asked knocking the door waiting for Mila’s brother as I was going to show him a couple of different jobs for him to chose from.

“Jacob is not here he is with some boy he likes what do you need boss?” Mila said as she opened the door.

“I was going to show him a couple of jobs tell him to come to my office at 5.” I answered.

“Yes boss.” Mila said and then I made my way to my office to get some work done so I can go talk to Sofia for a bit before she leaves and I don’t have a lot to catch up on.

As I walked into my office I did not expect to see my sister sitting on my chair reading through stuff when a second ago she was talking with Alex.

“Hey Sof.” I said went over to her and gave her a kiss on the forehead like She used to do to me when I was little.

“Hello Olly, this place looks fantastic, it’s massive, your paperwork is perfect.” She said proudly.

“I’m so proud of you kid.” She said with tears in her eyes.

“I learned from the best.” I said which she chucked to then rolled her eyes.

“Did you figure out what has been up with Alex?” I asked worriedly.

“No, she doesn’t want to talk about it but something is definitely up however she decided to come back home.” Sofia said and took a deep breath, she looks tired.

“I just worry so much.” She said taking in another deep breath again.

“You know she’s welcomed here for as long as she needs when she needs.” I said giving her a sad smile.

“I know, I told her that too but she told me she wanted to come home, I also told her she can come back whenever she wants but she has to warn me when and how long she’s staying.” Sofia said.

“Yep that works perfectly.” I answered her.

“So when are you guys going back home?” I asked.

“Tomorrow I have a very important meeting I’m sorry Olly but I’ll be back soon.” She said sadly.

“It’s ok anyway I’ll show you to your room you look tired and I’ll see you tomorrow before you leave.” I said.

“Alright Olly.” She said and we both walked up talking about all the changes in the past year and a bit.

After Sofia and Alex left things went completely back to normal, I was my emotionless person to everyone else as always, I had people try kill me and there was a gang war which of course we won, however one thing has changed and that’s my thoughts on Mila, the girl who stole from me...
