A few hours ago.
I was dodging and playing with the boss by spamming my dash skill when finally after some time it fell on his knees. The effects of biokinesis were superb. It did its job perfectly.
All I needed to do was to evade the boss's attack and make contact with any part of its body to activate the skill.
It fell on its knees, dropped both of its great axes and breathe in slowly as if trying to reminisce his life.
Who told you to underestimate me? now look at you, you didn't even manage to hit me once.
"Don't worry, I will end your life in one blow."
Although I was sure it would at least take two attacks I wanted to sound powerful. Even till the end.
I went towards it slowly and steadily, it did not try to do anything.
Using dash I rapidly struck at his neck using amplify, enhanced with weak point applied as my claws went through his neck and could be seen on the other side.

As soon as I tried to take back my hand the boss as if seemingly coming back to life used all his strength to bite down on my arm and ripped it off.

It hurts!!
I could feel the pain as the muscles on my arm was forcefully ripped off with such force, I cried for the first time I came here in this world. I didn't even notice I was crying, tears came pouring out as I screamed in pain.
Soon after a feeling of hatred came upon me, momentarily I forgot about the tormenting pain as I look at the mocking face of the boss.
It was already dead but it was mocking me for my foolishness, I was over-confident yet again.
When will I learn?
I ripped off the cloth of the boss to tie up my arm, my arm was ripped off but miraculously the bleeding has already stopped. The system was doing its work perfectly.
To satiate my anger I picked up the axe the boss used as I chopped up the boss into pieces from head to toe. With blood covering my whole body I sit down on pieces of what used to be the boss of this dungeon.
I acknowledged the fact that I am hot-headed but how do I change this? Is there any skill that will make me smarter? System?

I'm emotional, it hasn't been easy. No, it was easy, but because of my stupidity, I made it way harder.

How long till I heal my arm?

I feel like crying again. The feeling of not having an arm is upsetting even as a demon. I feel like I am not me anymore as if somethings missing. Welp my arm is missing but yeah. It's like that.
Can I upgrade my body system?

My attack has been increased a lot more than I thought actually. I believe I can one-shot bosses of Elite rank easily now. Hehe, enough hanging on what has happened time to think for the future. Yes!
My strength has grown by leaps and bounds, I doubled my strength stat which after using amplify and enhanced will hit for huge damage.
Damage… why is it that monsters work like those in the games I used to play… they take damage… how is it possible?

No time to sit here, I activated stealth and return on my way back to the dragon's egg. It's been 3 days since I left I wonder anything happened to the corpse of the dragon.
The mother dragon won't be waiting for me, will it?
Nothing happened along the way, although I stumbled upon a few common monsters I ignored them since I don't have any use of them.
I did use stealth and killed one for food.

The corpse of the dragon was still here. All along I was thinking if gluttony will work on the dragon. One way to find out.

Well, I doubted it, even using it on elite monster gave me reduced stats. For the next two weeks, I'll make this my camp until I heal my arm. I can go down from time to time to hunt for food and to increase my aura. But I don't plan to venture too much to places I have not gone before. After all, I am one arm less than usual.
Now that I have settled down let's see what that dragon blood can do.

Suddenly I feel a tremor, the egg was shaking, not by itself but something else.
And it seemed to be increasing ever so slightly, I looked down through the opening on the egg and what I saw surprised me.
Monsters of different type and forms were going in one direction on a group without fighting against each other, I could see small monsters being trampled by the bigger ones but it was not on purpose. I can sense the urgency of these monster…
Is something big gonna happen soon?
