Chapter 23 | Suspicion Begins
Her speechless self just sat there unmoving and focused on a patch of grass on the ground, she did not reply to him after he finished speaking. It was better this way she thought. Maybe she could just pretend he did not say that?
"Don't feel embarrassed, I just give myself a break from work by poking you. Don't take my harsh words to heart Belinda." The teasing glint had not left his sparkling blue eyes and once again she was left mesmerized by his eyes.
