“Nathan? What was that?” My eyes remain locked on the small slit opposite from us. Nathan is way too focused on licking my neck to even hear me.
“Nathan!” I exclaim and create some space between us but only enough for me to see his eyes that are dark as night.
“What?” He questions me but his eyes are clouded, and he isn’t thinking with his head.
“Over there, I saw something moving.” I point to the place I’m referring too.
“Moving?” A frown is on his lips now.
“Like a shadow or something.”
“Are you sure that it wasn’t just the reflex of the water? We made lots of waves, or maybe your mind is still too shaken up because of what we did.” He speaks and I know that he could be right, but he isn’t.
