Sean's POV
I glared at Dashielle as we walked out of class.
He had frozen time so I could yell at him.
"They skip school! Have you seen his friend? Oh my god, his thoughts! I can already tell where this is going..." I began to pace back and forth from the stress.
My wings and halo pop out from frustration.
I jump into the air and begin to fly around to calm my nerves.
"Hey, 2 more wins and you have to do anything I say." Dashielle smirks.
"I hate you." I say as I snap, turning tiny.
I sit on his shoulder.
He flicked my off and I began to buzz around him, annoying him.
"Hey, Angel. Why don't we do a challenge." He holds his hand out and I land on it.
"Yes?"
"Let's both try to win Ass's heart. Who ever succeeds gets... hm...."
"They get to tell the demons and angels that Asa is on the winners side." I offer.
He nods.
I snap my tiny fingers and go to normal size.
We put our hands out and shook on it.
"He'll love me to death." Dashielle smirked.
He grabbed my wrist and dragged me back to the class.
We sat down and he snapped, starting time again.
"Lunch time? Why don't we just leave now?" Dashielle offered.
Asa perked up. "Yeah! Why wait- oh, but I have class with the vampires next hour..."
Dashielle chuckled as I giggled.
"Vampires?" I asked.
"Oh, yeah. Gabby and Abby. They aren't real vampires though... I wish things like vampires and werewolves were real. Oh! Did you know that demons and angels are real?" Asa looked proud at this bit of knowledge.
Dashielle and I exchanged a glance and laughed.
We tried to hide our nervousness.
"Anyways! Let's skip!" Ani said excitedly.
Wait... I don't think he ever said his name...?
Oh right, Asa was thinking about him a lot.
"Uh, I guess we are skipping at lunch then." I say.
Everyone nods in agreement.
"Hey, give me your schedules." Asa demands. We hand over the papers that the counselor gave us.
He looked over at them.
"Hmm... seems I have science with Stefan next... Math with both of you... Language Arts with Sean... Wait, you do band, Stefan!" Asa looked excited at this.
"Uh, yeah? I mean, I cant sing for s**t, and strings always confused me. I play the alto sax." Dashielle bragged. I rolled my eyes.
"I play the flute, although I'm in choir instead of band." I shrugged.
"Oh, I think we are in the same choir class, Sean! Ooh, could you sing right now?" Asa was bouncing in his seat from excitement.
I shook my head.
"Maybe later." I say.
I don't think I could sing right now without using my powers...
"Hey, Asa, Ani, I was going to be throwing a party next week. Do you want to come?" Stefan said.
Ani shook his head. "Parties aren't my cup of tea."
"YES. I've never been to a party before. Like, yeah, b-day parties and wedding parties and stuff like that, but- you get the point..." He trailed off, thinking.
I looked over at Dashielle, who was staring Asa down. He was being a bit subtle, which was good. He was biting his lip and I could already tell what the problem was.
Demons couldn't stand being around humans too long without getting sexually frustrated.
Angels, they were constantly around humans, but new ones seem to get the same side affects.
And I have never been near a human.
Ever.
So, the thing happening to Dashi?
That would probably happen to me too.
"Hey, how much longer until class ends?" Dashielle asks.
I could see his legs were crossed and he was clawing at his skin.
"Um, maybe 15 more minutes? Hey, are you okay? You look like your burning up..." Asa leaned over and was going to put his hand against Dashielle's head.
Dashielle reached up and grabbed his wrist.
"I-I'm fine." Dashielle snapped.
Asa retreated, but kept a close eye on Dashielle.
He stood up and walked over to me.
"Do you know what's up with him?" Asa asked, tracing his finger up and down my arm.
I read his mind and apparently he didn't realize he was doing this, his brain was a f*****g mess.
I could feel his finger on my arm lightly brushing over my skin and I felt a bit dizzy.
"Uh, I'm not sure. He's not normally like this." I say softly.
I looked over at Ani who was glancing back and forth between us all.
I began to read his mind.
He rolled his eyes and lay his head down.
Ass, you dumbass. They're horny. And your making it worse.
Spot on, Ani.
I looked back at Asa. He sighed and stepped away from me.
"I hope he's fine..." He goes back to his seat.
Ani leans over and whispers into his ear, although I can hear it.
"They're horny, Ass. And you aren't helping much. Actually, you're making it worse. Stefan looks ready to pounce on you, probably why he didn't want you to touch him. Sean looks dizzy after what you did to his arm. Dang, Ass. You're so dense." Ani whispered to Asa.
Asa's face turned red and he looked at Dashielle and I.
I wonder what would have happened if Ani hadn't said anything...
