Chapter 29On the drive home, I had to pull over twice, because the tears were blinding me. I’d sit and bawl, banging my head on the steering wheel, cursing the lot fate had handed me yet again. “It just can’t be simple,” I exclaimed, pounding my fist on my thigh. “Why?!” When I finally arrived home, I went straight to my room. Rachel walked out of the kitchen, when she heard me come in, but whatever she may have said to me was ignored. I closed the door and jerked my coat off, flinging it across the room.
