Brad’s POV
I followed the waitress from her house. I stayed a couple of houses back so she would not see me. For some reason she seemed like she was on edge. She kept looking around nervously and after a few minutes she picked up her pace and dang near sprinted into the grocery store. That was another red flag, but what baffled me the most was the black car with the darkest tint I have ever seen on a vehicle that was creeping up the street in front of me. The car had been parked there when I arrived this morning, but I just assumed they lived nearby. I found the whole ordeal to be suspicious, especially since the guy on the passenger side went into the grocery store a few minutes after the waitress. Something about the car did not sit right with me, so when the driver got out and walked across the street, I wrote down his tag and took a few pictures of the vehicle on my phone just in case. I sat around waiting for you to come out of the store. I had a gut feeling something big was about to happen. I watched for a few more minutes when she ran out the door only to run dead smack into the driver of the mysterious car.
She looked like she had seen a ghost. They just stood staring at each other. I was parked close enough to the store that I could see her trembling and the look of fear in her eyes. She was so frozen she did not see the guy from the passenger side walking up behind her. He said something in her ear and all her color drained from her face. I do not know what Hell Zander has stumbled upon, but I need to talk to him right away. I called his phone, but it kept going to voicemail. I watched as the driver dragged her to their car. I was on the phone with Tiffany trying to figure out where Zander was and what he wanted me to do. Tiffany told me to follow them but keep my distance because we did not know what we were up against just yet. While I was talking to her, I forwarded the pictures I took to my team to see if they could get any information on the car, or the guys involved. I followed them but kept enough distance that I would not suspect anything. I hung up with my wife and called Zander for the 15th time since I got to her house this morning. It is not like him not to answer the phone. What could he be doing? He always answers the phone.
