I called for my parents to join us for dinner lord here we go again. I thought to myself. We sat down and the omegas brought us dinner. So mother how do you like living in Hawaii? Its nice the beaches are wonderful but I miss it here. There is so many humans roaming during the day we really have to be careful. I looked over at Kate and explained.

Mom and dad moved to Hawaii for reasons only they know after I took over and joined a small pack there. Its mostly old Alphas and Lunas there age and they can sit around and talk about how they were kings of the universe. She giggled at my joke.

Mother how long are you staying? I'm so glad your back I have missed you. Well son I'm not sure I guess it all depends on you father but I'm hoping its awhile. I think it would be good to show your father how everything is running and take him to Kates pack and show him around there. Maybe he has ideas on what needs to be done.

Ok look I said standing up! We need to clear the air and start over. Dad I understand you didn't want to lose the Alphas position but I come of age. I don't run the pack the way you did but I wanted to have a certain relationship with my pack. what I do here works for us and if you could have seen those warriors when we went to find Kate they would have made you proud.

I have a great relationship with the 2 neighboring packs and they fought side by side with us without any hesitation. I would appreciate the respect that I've always shown you. I will not subject my pup to your arrogance and selfish ways. If you want to be a apart of all our lives I suggest you quit acting like a child.

I know you only come here because mom made you. You have some choices to make and I hope you make the right ones because I need guidance every now and again. I sat down and everyone's faces were in shock. I was shocked that just happened.

Well said son my mother clapped in approval. Lets eat she said before it gets cold. My father really didn't say much through dinner but I could tell he was thinking. After dinner my mother whisked Kate away to talk baby stuff and I invited my father to my office to talk. I was surprised he actually came.

Please sit dad I said pointing to the chair across from mine. Would you like a drink? Yes please a scotch on the rocks. he said, Dad I started to say before he put his hand up. Son wait let me explain. I am so proud of you I'm sorry I never told you that. I knew you would be a great Alpha but I did not want to step down I just wasn't ready. But I knew I had to you were ready to step up. I'm sorry I treated you badly but the power went to my head but it worked out people didn't like me they feared me but respected me.

I knew you would run this pack differently I saw how you composed yourself while I trained you. I am happy you took a different path it makes you a better man. I didn't leave because you took over I just thought if I left you could figure things out on your own and didn't need you father here telling you what to do. I was wrong son and in the process I took your mother away.

I am proud you found your mate and I'm sorry she was put through hell. I'm proud you stepped up and are trying to run 2 packs in different locations. Sometimes I let my Alpha part of me take over and my wolf just gets mean. Were old and cranky these days. I'm proud I'm gonna be a grandfather. By the time my father stopped talking I was in tears. I stood up and walked over to him and hugged him. For the first time my father hugged me back and I actually felt his love. 

Dad I promise you I will always make you proud but I need you here helping me and guiding me. We shook hands and left to find the girls. Mom are you smothering my princess with your crazy ideas? I snickered Listen here young man you would not be the person you are today without my craziness. She said  with a smile on her face.

We were talking about the nursery and gender just mom stuff she looked at me and smiled. Ok mom but don't smother or overwhelm here to much. I wont son she smiled. Dad would you like to see the addition on the prison and the new wing of the hospital? Yes son I would love to. He said.

Kate and my mother just looked at us confused but never said a word. We went to the prison first and I showed him the new rooms and how each level was according to the offense. I think he really liked the bottom floor it was the torture chamber. Next we headed to the hospital and I showed him the new wing for the elderly. We decided it was best if the elderly had there own wing it was easier than pack members trying to find some1 to take care of them while they were working or training.

Well done son you have done great things in the 2 years I've been gone. Thank you sir I said with a smile on my face. We headed back it was getting late and I know Kate is exhausted. Ladies my father said it is late I think its time to retire for the evening. With that we headed to our rooms.
