I woke up excited. Wake up sleepy head I shook John awake. Well I sure have missed waking up with you he chuckled. We have our first appointment in an hour I said jumping up. But I want to sleep he croaked. Well good thing I don't care cause your getting up. Besides you don't want to miss our first ultra sound? I said frowning. No that is the most important meeting of the day he said smiling.

I'm gonna be a daddy! He boomed Yes you are and I think your gonna be a great dad. I sure hope so my dad and I never got along well. I sat down on the bed and listened he never mentioned his parents before and I knew when he was ready he would talk about it.

Why didn't you get along? Well my dad believed running the pack kind of military style. He thought it was better and people respected him but never liked him. I felt running it with passion and understanding was better. MY dad believed in killing first then asking questions. I believe in questioning and interrogating and then sentencing according to the crime. What did you mother think? Well she taught me all I know about compassion and understanding. She always told me to run my pack how I saw fit. 

He didn't want me to take over as alpha but at a certain age they must hand over the duties. I remember him saying to me" son don't ruin this pack" I've build an army. Those were the last words he said to me. He took my mother and they left right after the Alpha ceremony. He always despised me he said I was weak but my mother assured me I was stronger than him.

When they left I had to figure out everything on my own and I did. My fathers Beta "Jays dad" was here to help me along. He kind of took over as my dad, he showed me everything I needed to know and helped Jay and myself if we needed it. My mother will call and check on me about every day and see how things are going. I always ask about my father but I truly feel he hates me because he had to hand over the Alpha title. 

My mother always tells me he loves me and one day will come around. I really don't care if he does or not. I feel like I've done a great job and our pack has strong numbers, happy members, and we are the wealthiest pack around. I work side by side with everyone and we have a understanding.

I hugged him tight and told him I feel like he was doing a wonderful job with his pack and my pack. He smiled and thanked me. Ok princess ready? Yes lets meet our pup! We walked down the beautiful flowery path and headed to the hospital. Alpha, Luna welcome home. Maria said gliding down the hall. I hear we have a pup on the way she said smiling.

Yes ma'am and we are excited to meet him/her I said smiling. Well lets go to a room and get started. Lay down on the bed and pull you pants down just under you belly. I'm going to put some gel on your belly so the wand will glide over your belly easily and we will be able to hear the heart beat and hopefully see your little peanut.

John held my hand and we starred at the little monitor ok here we go. She said. She put the gel on my belly and began moving the wand around "listen" she said. Next thing we know we could here a heart beat ringing through the room. That there is you baby and its heart beat. It sounds strong. She said. Ok are you ready to meet him or her? Yes we both said excited. She pressed the wand a little harder and a picture began to appear. Here is the Head she said and legs. And she just measured and typed into the computer. I know its hard to see the baby Its still so little about the "size of a peanut" but since our kind develop quick within the next 3 weeks we should be able to tell the s*x of your peanut.

Any questions? Actually yes how long is our full term pregnancies? Well we carry our pups about 5 months they develop quick and most generally we don't have complications. How far along am I? By the size of the baby I'm thinking about 3 weeks. Would you like a picture of your peanut? Yes we both said excited.

She printed it and handed us the photo. Now if you have any issues or have questions please don't hesitate to call me. We thanked her and headed out. We need to start on the baby room? I said to him but he had his nose proudly shoved in the picture. John I yelled What? he jumped.

We need to think about a nursery. Yes princess whatever you decide is good with me. I'm gonna let you and dee design it how ever you want to. I'm gonna focus on both packs so you don't have too. I stopped and kissed him. I love you and I love you.

We headed back to the pack house and showed off the picture of our little peanut to everyone. Dee I need your help. I need to get a nursery together and I don't know where to start. Well you come to the right place! All I need is the Alphas credit card and we can a nursery done in 2 days. She said smiling.

I shook my head no way we are not spending a lot of money for 1 room. I just want basics crib, dresser, changing table, maybe a rocking chair. We are not spending thousands of dollars. Where's your sense of adventure Dee said smiling. I lost a week ago. I said to her.

We talked about themes and colors for the walls. This is exhausting Dee tell you what throw around some ideas and get back to me. Sound good? Yes she said with a smile on her face. What did I get myself into? I thought to myself.

I walked away shaking my head I decided to go to my office and see what or if any paper work needed to be done. Princess please come sit for a minute so we can chat. I got nervous he sounded kind of serious. I went in and kissed him and sat down. He was holding his hands in a praying position. What's wrong? I asked. Is it the new pack? No No he said. My parents are coming. He said 

Well no matter what I will not let anyone bring you down and just know I will be behind you 110%. We will hold our heads high and do what we do. Remember you are the Alpha he is not. He no longer has any say in how you do things. Your right He said. So when will they arrive? Tomorrow he said. What! A days notice?

Talk about not acceptable I shouted. Its ok I said with a deep breath we can make this work. Just remember Mr. Alpha you run this pack. He shook his head and kissed me.
