The next morning I awoke to the sun shining in my room. Oh rose its beautiful I said. I better enjoy it now cause I'm sure I'm gonna be locked back up in a room when the alpha takes me to his pack house. Yes it is and its so bright and warm coming through the window. she said. 

Do you suppose I will have a window in my room so I can see outside? I hope so rose replied. Maybe If we are really good we can shift. rose said. Once we get to know the Alpha I will ask. I replied.

Their was a knock on the door and it opened to Jay walking in. Good morning miss Kate he said. Good morning beta jay I replied. Just jay please. he said I shook my head ok, and giggled. I brought you a few thing to wear you look about my sisters size and she said you could use anything you would like. he said with a smile. Well please to tell her thank you for me. I said he shook his head and said. actually you can tell her yourself she will be here in a second if that's ok. I was surprised I was gonna meet someone knew Yes I said with a smile.

About that time the door swung open startling us all. Dang it Dee knock next time you scared her. Jay shouted shaking his head. It looks like I may have scared you dear brother more than her she laughed. 

Hello I am Dee short for Deedra but that names so adult like and I'm not ready to grow up yet. She laughed. Hello I am Kate I said. well nice to meet you. Now that introductions are done Kate can dee help you get ready and we will go to the Packhouse? Yes beta I nodded. 

He left the room and dee pulled out several pants and tops to match each and 4 different pairs of shoe. You may borrow whatever you want. she said. Go ahead and take a shower and wash your hair then get dressed and meet me here please she said. I smiled and quickly ran to do my business.

 I returned awhile later with my hair in a messy bun and I chose stretchy yoga pants and a tank top to match and a pair of tennis shoes that felt like you were walking on clouds. Rose shoes are wonderful aren't they I said. She hummed a yes. 

Ok Kate are you ready to see your new home? dee asked. At this point I was excited about everything yes I said. And skipped behind her down a hall to double doors that led to the outside. I immediately stopped and held out my wrist and she had a disgusted look on her face.

What are you doing? Kate she asked. I'm holding out my wrist so you can put restraints on me to transport me to the pack house. What! who told you we did that? she boomed. No one I just assumed that's how its done here. I said.

 At my old home Peter would come into my room and lead me to the door but before we went outside he would restraint me. A low growl come from her and she shook her head. No! we do not do that here unless you are a prisoner and you are not. She said. I am sorry I got upset but that seems cruel. she said.

Its ok. I said to dee. I guess there is gonna be so much new and different things and this is so much to take in. She nodded and stepped forward and the doors opened and there stood Jay. Wow I said as I watched the doors open and shut by themselves. Have you never seen doors like that before? Jay asked.

No sir. I said the doors where very big and they must have been heavy because it took two people to open them. He looked at Dee and they just looked flabbergasted. Well here you can walk freely and the doors open on their own at the hospital. he chuckled.

I nodded in understanding and we took off down a beautiful path with trees, flowers and the most beautiful green grass I've ever seen. I've heard stories about green grass and flowers but I've only seen a glimpse of a wild flower once. Of course I've seen trees but they didn't look like these they looked almost sick.

I stopped to take in the beauty of everything and smell the flowers. I touched the trees and felt the grass,  I looked at dee and jay and said" have you ever seen something so breathtaking"? They just shook their heads and didn't say a word. They allowed me to take in my surroundings without any interruptions.

At the end of the path it opened into a village like setting. There was small homes everywhere and they surrounded a giant mansion. I gasped! Wow their had to be 5 floors. what is that building? 

Jay stood in shock at my reaction but shook his head and said. That is the pack house and all the little houses are where our pack members live except a selective few who live with the alpha and I he said. Oh I gasped. I stood in shock but dee grabbed my arm and pulled me to the house.

Welcome home she said smiling from ear to ear. Jay begin to speak to dee as I stood there in awe. I need to go talk to the Alpha will you please give her a tour and show her where her room is? Yes brother I will she replied. Kate jay said the alpha and I will meet up with you shortly ok? All I could do was shake my head yes.

I think I walked a thousand miles around the house before I reached my room on the 4th floor. whelp, dee said this is your room mine is right across the hall so were are gonna be besties . She seemed so happy. I chuckled and went into my room. My eyes were as wide as coins. Oh my goddess this room is huge! Look dee I yelled there is a window and a glass door that leads to a balcony. She was confused by my reaction and kind of stayed quiet and let me take it all in.

I flopped on the bed and it was so soft, I looked over and saw I had my own bathroom. I screaked pretty loud "my own bathroom" wow just wow. Ok bestie I'm going to go and ill be back later and check on you ok? She asked I nodded my head but never stopped looking around.

Rose are you there? yes doll face she said. What is this place? Home she said just home. I'm so confused rose and overwhelmed I said before I drifted off to sleep.
