Looking Through Your Eyes.

Bobby walks with Tracy towards the Grafton centre, quiet because of the bodies on the ground; I don’t know if they are dead or undead. They do not have many weapons, just the corkscrew along with Bobbie's muscles, which still need to be tested; see, just like Tony, you can have all the muscular physic you like, but in these situations, if you can’t fight, your f****d. Bobby nearly treads with all his weight onto a black object submerged in the snowy coating, like icing sugar dusted over a cake. Bobby picks up the dark thing and brushes away the snow. It’s a smartphone. He clicks the circular button, and the home screen lights up, with a couple kissing at the mouth of a mountain; he gets a glimpse at the time before noticing the one per cent battery in the corner after the phone powers down. He puts this in his back trouser pocket after telling Tracy. “It is seven minutes past three.” They carry on walking towards the front of the Grafton centre. Tracy Says, “I am hungry and also thirsty.” Bobby responds, "Same; let’s look in the shopping centre.” Lucky for the pair, the doors are still open; they lock them at a specific time of night to keep people experiencing homelessness out from sleeping within. The doors open then quickly shut on the already crushed head of a person, like a watermelon that a sledgehammer has repeatedly hit, while the body lay inside the shopping centre. Bobby does the Jesus cross over himself while Tracy winces. They can hear somebody eating; when I say eat, I mean the disgusting type, like slurping spaghetti in pasta sauce shite. They look to their right to see outside a closed bank, a smartly dressed person lying dead with half of his brain lying on the pavement and seeing a coating of snow all around two Z’s feast. Alphabet spaghetti, using every letter, starting now. The FIRSt ONe CroUcheD over eatinG the MAn's intestines, bLood goes dripPing down his chin, With the other z its back to the pair, Bobby alongside Tracy breaths QuietlY eXhales Joining Each other’s, the second z Hunched over feasting on the brains of their victims, KeePing it a meal only for the VIZ’s. You now can clap, finishing here. After the first few brain portions go into the second Z’s mouth, he straightens up as the rotten flesh on his face starts to heal, and his eyes start to regain their rightful colour. He starts sniffling as he envisions the guy's life, of the brain he was devouring. What the Z is envisioning is the guy, seeing this through his eyes, he is rushing through the airport with his girlfriend, one hand pulling his luggage while the other is reaching out for his lady’s hand; he turns his head to see her, dark hair swaying while she is rushing beside, her hand trying to reach out for his, her red lipstick sticking out on her lips, one of her smiles that can bring happiness to life, not just his life but everyone lives that she come into touch with, as their hand's clasp together, as they are weaving around people. It jumps to when they are on an aeroplane, she has taken her seat, but he is standing, putting his bag in the overheads, wearing a grey t-shirt. While speaking with her but the words are muffled, her eyes as dark as a well on a night; you could easily get lost in them; she scrapes her hair back to flick behind her ear while giggling at something he just said. As he sits beside her to hold her hand, her fingers locking with his, an engagement ring on her finger, they kiss. It skips forward to them at the picture on the phone that Bobby found, as the guy is giving someone his mobile after the couple stands in front of the mountain. But the visual effects that the Z is experiencing abruptly stop because the other Z that was munching on the guy's intestines is on the move barging past to get what he has spotted; you would think this would be Bobby along with Tracy but turning to see them not there anymore, well you would be gone if you were in their shoes. Bobby, alongside Tracy, is walking through the shopping centre, I shouldn’t have to tell you, but there are all the big-name branded shops throughout. Over their shoulders is the entrance, the dead body lying on the ground, automatic doors still opening to shut, but the body has stopped jolting because there is nothing left of the person's head, looking like a smashed watermelon. Tracy points to a sign on the wall, which has toilets upstairs; they don’t want to make too much noise because they don’t have much to defend themselves. Bobby puts his thumb up, so they decide to take the stairs. At the same time as they go to the toilet, George with the others are walking past the back entrance of the bus station to a poorly lit path; all their senses are on high alert because they can hardly see none of the surrounding areas, the snow still heavily falling, just about making some of the outlines of objects out in the surrounding area, they come to the first ray of light flickering down from a lamppost, but doesn’t help all that much. They walk out from the light like a flickering spotlight on a stage. You would be f****d if you had epilepsy. Their different paired trainers crunch in the settled snow with each step. They approach the next flickering light, but the noise from the weather elements, along with their shuffling feet, is interrupted by a scared lady's scream. They abruptly stop walking to listen, squinting. George whispers, asking, “Which way do you think that scream comes from?” Adam responds similarly, “I think it came from the way we are going.” They carry on walking to their first beam of light that isn’t flickering from this lamppost, not sure if it is a good or bad thing for them; as long as they follow the lampposts, they will get to the Grafton centre. Before they can leave the light. Like a bowling ball speedily hitting its designated pins for a strike, a Z jumps out of the darkness around the light to bowl down the group of four. The Zs are mainly taking Tony out but not in a friendly way, not for a spot of brunch, dear, but for the Zs kind of dinner. Rolling across the ground, his clothes become snowy, but his body heat melting the flakes into his clothes, so they become soggy, but they can’t lay on the floor for too long making snow angels; there is a Z that wants to munch on their behinds. As the three of them quickly stand up to regroup, Adam is still in the darkness. George says out loud, “f*****g Adam!” But he soon rejoins, scaring the life out of them. Adrenaline is surging now as they only have a split second before they can see the Z; it can come from anywhere, armed with their weapons, Tony takes a couple of swings at the darkness At the same time, Bobby is washing his hands in the toilet sink, his palm pressing the soap dispenser, rubbing his hands together, rinsing them, and faintly hearing from the ladies' toilets, Tracy using the hand dryer. Bobby decides not to use them in the gents, not to wake up anymore Zs before he leaves; he is looking in the mirror, seeing in the reflection the urinals, a man either dead, drunk, Z or alive, lying facedown in the urinals, the fourth option is unlikely though. Luckily for him there are sinks you can piss in, he is adjusting his bouncer card in his right sleeve, water seeping into the fabric of his trousers as dries his hands on them. He joins Tracy outside the toilets, not a soul in sight; well, not until they get to the top of the stairs; looking down to the bottom, a female Z lay over the first step, slowly climbing up. Bobby whispers, “That wasn’t there before.” Tracy whispers, asking, “How do we get around that?” *Ding* “Level one, the toilets.” A female voice says from inside the elevator at the side. Bobby whispers, “That will do.” They go to walk over there; the big metal elevator doors open, and a blood-thirsty Z comes manically running towards the pair. Bobby, with the corkscrew between his middle also marriage finger, his grip tightened around its metal leaver, like brass knuckles. One time Bobby punches the Z in his face, and the corkscrew drills between the flesh eater's eyes like a barbed hook; when the Z drops to the ground, it yanks the corkscrew out from his hand. Tracy stands shocked before they can go to the elevator to avoid the corpse at the bottom of the stairs. In all the commotion the corpse that was climbing the stairs grabs ahold of Bobby’s ankle. The Z is soon to let go of his ankle because of his size ten steel toecap boot nearly takes the female Zs head clean off her shoulders, but instead, she is falling down the stairs with her chin bouncing off every step. They quickly rush into the lift before more Z’s show up; looking at the panel on the lift wall, a bloody hand smeared down the buttoned panel, not knowing how the Z virus spreads. Bobby runs over to corkscrew Z to see if there is a piece of clothing he can use to protect his finger, to press the button. His eyes scan over the truly deceased ex-Z; all components are bloody, so instead, Bobby puts his index finger at Tracy to indicate one minute. Tracy asks quietly, “That long?” Bobby smirks after he turns, walking off to the toilets. He responds, “Not since my teenage years, over excited with too much foreplay.” Tracy smiles as he goes back into the gents. The lift doors close in front of her eyes, and her visibility of the toilet doors and hallway are restricting until she reaches out, swiping her hand between the closing doors; they start to slowly re-open.
