CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE Cora had never sneaked into a war zone before, and she wasn’t sure that she ever wanted to have to again. She, Aidan, and Emeline slipped in along the line of the river, watching the skies for crows, hiding whenever they saw them. “I hope we’re in time,” Cora said as they ran down toward the city.
