The Breakfast Club
PATRICK ALLEN OFTEN left his apartment on Tenth Avenue with the general intention of heading over to the West Side docks. Sometimes he hesitated at the first cross street, which would take him west toward the water, but on the morning of July 10th, he was past the point of hesitation. It had been several months since he’d worked at the docks, and now he had a different daily routine, which involved heading east toward midtown.
