The dark void. An endless realm covered and filled with pure darkness and lightning from the sky. It is known to be a forbidden place where no man born from a woman dare to go or dream of visiting. The only person to survive at the dark void was a woman forged by the "god of three".
Death.
Destruction.
Domination.
The god of three.
No one has ever requested anything from the god of three before but this queen never cared anyways. Despite the fact that she may never return from the dark void or the gods might demand something that may cost a life. Emotions they say, is a powerful thing especially when you don't have control over it.
Her daughter had to pay the price for the mistake made by her mother with her life. The Queen's dress was still stained by her young daughter's blood, her tears were that of vengeance rather than pain seeking to end the people of the kingdom that did this to her. The god of three couldn't deny the request but, the sacrifice was her own blood.
A life for lives..
This was a thousand years ago. The....
"Stop! I've heard this story before. I came here for a solution not history" Edwin the crowned king of the eight kingdoms intergected her. He was putting on a polished white metal armor with a obsidian leopard logo on his chest, a yellow cape that marched his hair, green eyes.
The sorceress of the dark void opened her blue eyes to look at him. They were in a cave miles away from the realm of darkness.
"I am aware of your problem Edwin, but may I remind you that you call history is the pillar to where your problem began" she spoke. Her voice stern.
"I am sorry. It's just that....I am all my kingdom has got to stop this" Edwin admits rubbing his hands together close to the fire not to catch anymore cold. The truth is, he had to travel all the way from the west down to the north where the weather was at it coldest, alone without any royal guard to meet with her and now all she was doing was feeding his head with more history lessons that he already knew off in the old books.
" Look into the flames of the fire, what do you see" she cut the silence. He did. All he saw was just the orange color of the fire and it woods.
"Nothing. This is insane" he said.
"Look again. Concentrate" she ordered.
He looked again and this time he saw something. A baby boy, a dragon with two heads, war, death and a woman.
" I don't understand" Edwin trails still looking at the fire but the vision was gone and was now replaced by the fire. " Is that my future" he asks.
"Yes. But you won't be there to witness it come to pass. I am sorry" she answered.
" Promise me you will keep him safe no matter what happens" he mentioned standing up.
" I don't make promises" she retorted still sitting in the same position since when he had arrived.
" Please! Sigrid" Edwin called her name for the first time.
She glanced up immediately at him gazing at him for a while. No one has ever mentioned her name before except the god of three. She stood up from her woodern chair and walked up to him, their bodies were close eyes locked on each other.
" The god of three accepts your request but, he requires a sacrifice from you" Sigrid said as the storm began to form in the night sky. " After all, nothing goes for nothing" she quoted.
" As long as the kingdoms and him remain safe. I will do anything" Edwin replies.
"Come with me. We have work to do" she began walking outside the cave and he followed behind....
