"Pinnacle Global: Urgent Resumption Request" I jumped out of my bed in excitement, And viewd the mail again Oh my God I had passed I hurriedly got out of bed and began to get my stufs ready for the next day,my mind racing with possibilities. Oh my God I had passed I shouted again ****************************************** The next morning, I arrived at the office feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. I had received an email the previous night confirming my employment and asking me to report to the office at 8 am sharp. As I stepped into the sleek, modern lobby, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist, who handed me a warm welcome packet and showed me to the elevator. "Good luck, RIYA she called out as the doors closed. I took a deep breath, smoothing out my dress and mentally preparing myself for the day ahead. When the elevator doors opened on the top floor, I was greeted by a stunning view of the city skyline. A sleek, minimalist desk sat in front of a large, wooden door with a discreet plaque that read "CEO Lounge." The receptionist from downstairs appeared beside me, smiling. "Right this way, RIYA. The CEO is waiting for you." I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest as I followed her to the door. With a gentle knock, the receptionist pushed open the door and announced, "RIYA sir." Wei Bryan looked up from the papers on his desk, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. " Welcome to your first day. Please, come in." I stepped inside, feeling a sense of trepidation mixed with excitement. What would my first day at Pinnacle Global bring. As I entered the CEO's office, Wei Bryan gestured for me to take a seat in one of the plush chairs in front of his desk. I sat down, trying to look confident and composed. "Good morning, RIYA Henshaw , his voice warm and friendly. "I trust you're feeling well and ready to start your new role?" I nodded, smiling. "Yes, sir. in a shaky voice The CEO leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together. "I must say, I'm impressed with your background and experience. I think you'll be a great fit for our team." He paused, his eyes narrowing slightly. "However, I do need to warn you that your role will come with a high level of responsibility and confidentiality. As my secretary, you'll be working closely with me on sensitive projects and handling confidential documents." I nodded, taking mental notes. "I understand, sir. I'm comfortable with that level of responsibility." The CEO smiled, seeming to relax a bit. "Good. I'm glad to hear that. Now, let's go over your duties and responsibilities. You'll be working closely with me, handling my schedule, correspondence, and travel arrangements." He handed me a thick folder filled with documents and information. "This is your welcome packet. It contains all the information you need to get started, including your job description, company policies, and contact information for the rest of the team." I took the folder, feeling a bit overwhelmed but determined to learn and succeed in my new role. As I stood up to leave, the CEO called out, "One more thing, RIYA." I turned back to him, curious. "Yes, sir?" "I have a meeting with a potential investor this afternoon. I need you to prepare the conference room and make sure all the necessary materials are ready." I nodded, making a mental note. "I'll take care of it, sir." Wei Zhou smiled, seeming to approve. "Good. I'll see you at the meeting." With that, my first day at Pinnacle Global had officially begun. Heading downstairs to get things started I noticed a woman standing in the reception area, sipping a cup of coffee and chatting with her phone. She was dressed in a designer outfit and had a haughty look on her face. The receptionist caught my eye and whispered, "That's Sophia, the CEO's fiancée." I nodded, curious. Sophia I mummured ....!!!!!! As I approached the reception desk, Sophia turned to me and raised an eyebrow. "Can I help you?" she asked, her tone dripping with condescension. I smiled politely. "Hi, I'm RIYA, the new secretary." Sophia's expression turned cold. "Oh, great. Another one." She turned back to the receptionist. "I need to see Bryan now. It's urgent." The receptionist hesitated. "I apologize, Sophia, but the CEO is busy with a meeting right now." Sophia's face turned red with anger. "I don't care about his meeting. I need to see him now." She stormed into the CEO's office, slamming the door behind her. The receptionist rolled her eyes. "Sorry about that," she whispered to me. "Sophia can be a bit...difficult." I nodded sympathetically. "I gathered that." As I watched, Sophia stormed out of the CEO's office, still looking angry. She glanced at me and sniffed. "You're the new secretary, I presume?" she said, her tone dripping with disdain. I nodded politely. "Yes, that's right." Sophia sneered. "Well, I hope you're better than the last one. She was completely incompetent." I felt a surge of annoyance at Sophia's rudeness, but I kept my cool. "I'll do my best to meet your expectations," I said, smiling sweetly. Sophia raised an eyebrow. "I doubt it." With that, she flounced off, leaving me feeling frustrated but determined to prove myself. Oh God I need your Help to scale through I prayed...
