His brows furrowed and immediately Daryl walked in, holding a file. “Mr Blackthorn! I was just about to come to see. There’s a file you need to—” “Where is she?” Vincent cut him off, his hooded eyes fixed on her seat. Daryl’s gaze traveled down to the seat and back to his face. “Ariana?” He asked even though he didn’t need to. Vincent, of course, didn’t respond. “She clocked out an hour ago. Said she was done for the day and needed to rest.” The answer made his pulse spike with irritation. “Left?” “Yes, sir.” Vincent’s jaw tightened.
