Dennis’s face twisted in both shock and confusion. He could barely recognise the woman in front of him.
It had only been twenty-four hours since she found out about his infidelity. How did she become a new person already?
“What has come over you, Ariana? Why are you being like this?” He asked, pretending to care about her.
She raised her head and glared at him, her blood boiling at the mere sight of him. “What has come over me?” she said in a low, chilling voice, standing slowly from the bed.
“How dare you ask me that?!” she suddenly screamed, her demeanor changing from heartbreak to pure rage.
“You lied to me, Dennis. You used me.” She pointed harshly at him, her words carrying the weight of the betrayal she felt.
