Vincent’s eyes narrowed. At her statement, frown lines formed on his forehead. “What did you just say?”
Ariana didn’t flinch, her gaze fixed on him in a way that showed her anger. “You heard me.” She said, her tone soft but calm.
“You should have told me that I would be meeting your girlfriend.”His brows drew together, confusion spreading across his face. “Girlfriend? What girlfriend?” He asked, his words heavy with disbelief.
Ariana breathed out. “Maya Hills. She told me about the relationship you both have.” Her words dripped with a mixture of jealousy and anger.
Vincent said nothing, only staring at her as if she had suddenly grown two heads. After a while, his mouth parted as if to respond, but, he stopped himself from getting involved in a battle of words with her.
