Ariana left the Blackthorne tower fuming. She could not believe what had just happened. In all her years of job hunting, she had never experienced something like that before.
Sure, she had gotten rejections…lots of them. But, not once did she ever get a proposal.
“Who does he think he is?” She rolled her eyes as she exited the elevator and headed for the main door. “If he didn’t want to give me the job he could have just said so. I’m smart. I’ll get another job.”
