  Thersia stood by the kitchen counter, idly swirling her coffee with a heavy heart, still haunted by the events of the night before. Even with the risk and anxiety, she couldn't ignore the sense that she and Luka had reached a turning point in their relationship. Confronting a danger had only made them closer.
