Chapter 29: Fix Me (Jace's POV)
I wait outside the showers for Leigh. I try hard not to listen to the sounds coming from inside, but I think that would be impossible from the other side of the building. I message Liv about the progress we made with Dakota tonight. She is already in bed. She had not been feeling well, as she is heading into the uncomfortable stage of her pregnancy. She is adorable in my eyes with her round belly, but she has trouble finding a comfortable way to sleep, her feet have started to swell and she can’t eat anything other than grill cheese without having horrible heartburn.
