“Ellie, wake up.” I heard Narcia’s voice before I could even open my eyes. I felt her tugging my comforter. “It’s almost nine in the morning, you haven’t had your breakfast yet.” I attempted to open my eyes but failed after a few attempts so I just surrendered and rolled on my back on the bed instead. “I’m not feeling really well today, Narcia.” After my fight with Kaleb last night, I remembered falling asleep late but I woke up some time in the night with a stomach ache.
