DANIEL'S POINT OF VIEW The stars outside glimmered faintly through the tall windows of the guesthouse I now called home. The Silver Blade Pack had become a safe haven, a place to heal, or at least pretend to. The people treated me kindly, especially Alpha Mathew and his daughter Emily. They made me feel welcome, respected, a feeling I had never truly known back in Shadow Blade.
