I woke up in the hospital?
We never go to the hospital. I didn't understand. How was I here?
Mama jumped up
"Rachel! Your awake"
"Yes..... Ma....ma. Why.... am I here? "
"How? did...... I get..... here?"
My words were staggered. I didn't speak clearly at all. I didn't understand what was wrong with me.
I felt find this morning.
Everything was perfectly fine until I saw him.
I tried to think about this man and my head just spun.
was this how love at 1st sight felt. I'm not sure I want this if this is love. I had never even spoke to a boy or man outside of our little Amish community and then the 1st time I do I end up in the hospital. I didn't get it.
The Dr came in just as Mama was about to say something.
It was him. He didn't look old enough to be a Dr I mean I don't know how old Dr's look but he looked my age.
"So Miss Adams all your test look normal but I want to keep you here over night. For observation. Is that ok with you Mrs. Adams?
"Yes that's fine. Thank you doctor"
He quickly left the room before I could say anything.
"Your father and I will be back to get you after service tomorrow." Mama said she looked as if she was about to cry
"Ok Mama" It was all I could say before I fell back to sleep.
