The next day, Edde stood on the balcony staring down at the passing cars in traffic. He hated himself for saying harsh words to Elizabeth, but at the same time, he felt like that was the right thing to do. He hated that she acted so possessively over him in front of Sadie, and he also hated the words he said to her; there are better ways of solving issues like this! He turned back to the room as he had been waiting for Elizabeth to wake up; hence, it was already late in the morning.
