No Patience

On my approach, I knew Ranger could smell me before he could see me. I held my head high, walking lightly so this ‘Veronica’ didn’t hear me coming up on her. I could see Ranger sitting at a seat at the island with Veronica pinning him in. He would have to physically move her to be able to get up. She was tall, taller than me at 5’ 6’’. With shoulder length long light brown hair and a skinny yet still curvy frame. From this angle, I could see her chest was pressed up against Ranger’s arm, and he looked like a bunny caught in a trap.                 I stopped just short of the kitchen and took a deep breath. Some of the other wolves noticed me and bowed their head to me. I know partially because Redford was at my back towering over me. Seeing one of the other wolves bow their head, Ranger glanced around Veronica and smiled.                 “We were wondering where you went off too.” I said with a lovely smile as I was close to them now.                 Veronica whipped around to see me and smiled big. “This is her the other wolves are gossiping about? The wannabe future Luna? Who are you f*****g again? Redford?”                 I glanced over to her a calm expression over my face. “Who are you?”                 She huffed. “I’m Ranger’s girlfriend.”                 “Ex. Ex-girlfriend from eight months ago. Only here because of the mating festival tonight.” Ranger interjected.                 I nodded. “How nice. So, you’re going to be there to see me marked by the triplets. How fun.”                 Veronica growled, but I didn’t flinch. “Ranger is my mate, he can’t have two. What makes you think he’s going to mark you? You short, big assed foreign Omega?”                 “Because I did plan on marking her first, but we decided we would mark in order of who met Samara first.” Ranger said as he was able to slip by Veronica. “And I only have one mate. One that smells like sweet strawberries and crème and yes, has a thick ass that I want to do many things too.”                 I rolled my eyes. “It’s not that big.”                 “Baby, it is, but don’t worry. We like you and this thick hourglass figure of yours.” Ranger said as his hand grasped the side of my neck to pull me into a kiss.                 I instantly invited him in to chase my tongue with his. I could hear Veronica huff her disgust. “Wait…You triplets are going to mark her? One Omega? What is wrong with you three.”                 “Hey!” I shouted before Ranger or Redford could. “They are Alpha’s and unless you’ve forgotten, they are King’s. Our King’s. Do not speak to them like you are personal with them, because you’re not anymore. Show respect.”                 Veronica recoiled at my use of my commanding Luna tone. She swallowed hard and held her head high. “Yes, I’m sorry. How about we let the triplets choose? Range, baby, who would you rather have? This Omega here who is going to be shared with your brothers? Or me, who you’ll have all to yourself. I could give you pups, and you wouldn’t have to…worry.”                 “I’m not worried about pups, Veronica. Sam will bear them for me when it’s right, and for my brother’s. Worry about what? We’ll be able to smell out which child is ours if she gives us pups at the same time. I will never choose any she-wolf over Samara. She belongs to me, too us.” Ranger said as his fingers tracked my neck, probably the place where he expected to put his mark. I trembled at his light touch, feeling that heat between my legs radiating to my stomach.                 I heard Redford growl deeply, making Veronica stiffen. Being an Omega, and not a mate of the triplets, the growl struck fear straight into her core. Then Ranger growled for a few seconds, both doing their best to keep their wolves from taking over.                 “I have to go get ready for tonight. Where’s Royce?” I asked as Redford’s hand, made circles on my back.                 Ranger smiled as he placed a hand on my stomach, leaning into my ear. “He’s doing business right now. Giana is on the third floor, we already picked out two dresses for you. Go, it’s already past noon and I figured you would want some girl time before the festival starts. Oh, but no s*x. That’s reserved for us now.”                         Giana laughed as we stared down at the dresses the triplets picked out for me. One was silky with a very low-cut top that looked like it was going to drag on the floor, and the other one was short and skin tight with sheer cut outs on the sides. There was nothing wrong with the dresses, except that neither were white like I was instructed to wear. The long one was a deep red, while the short one was a dark shade between purple and blue. They were beautiful, but again, not white.                 “The triplets really have authority issues.” I said with a sigh.                 Giana nodded. “Yeah, it must be the whole Kingly thing. They technically are the authority.”                 I groaned. “If their father didn’t like me before, he’s really going to hate me now.”                 “Oh yeah, speaking of that guy. What did he want?”                 As we got ready I explained to Giana what happened and about this Veronica wolf. Everything was going smoothly, and we got a chance to relax on the bed for a while before heading down to meet up with our guys.                 Royce was in a black v neck t-shirt with a suit jacket over it and a pair of dark wash jeans. Ranger was in a black button up with black slacks, and Redford was in a black t-shirt and pair of jeans and his hunting boots. As I said before authority issues.                 Daniel was dressed appropriate for the occasion in a black suit with whist button up shirt, pair of slacks, and nice shoes. His hair was neat and his clothes were ironed. Beside me Giana giggled. She was wearing a blush pink cocktail dress with a jeweled top. Her hair beautifully styled into a perfect bun with thick catlike eyeliner.                 I blushed a little as the triplets had me in their sights. I chose the shorter skin-tight dress, accented it with a pair of white heels. My hair was braided on the sides and left teased and brushed straight back, giving me a Viking look along with a smoky eye effect around my discolored eyes. All the while, I never took off my black nail polish. I guess the triplets aren’t the only ones with authority issues.                 As we walked towards our guys, I watched as the brother’s eyes darkened. Royce glanced over to Ranger with a slight glare.                 “I told you not to give her that dress as an option. Look how good she looks.”                 Ranger rolled his eyes. “I wasn’t thinking about that when I picked it. I just thought about how good it was going to look coming off her.”                 Redford let out a deep breath. “It’s nice to see she defied our father too. He asked her to wear her hair up and take off her nail polish.”                 “By the goddess, she really is perfect for us.” Royce said with a loving sigh.                 I rolled my eyes when we got to them. “I could hear you three, you know?”                 Oh, we’re aware of that, sweet Omega.” Royce said with a wink.                 I groaned just thinking about the celebration tonight. “Do we really have to do this in front of everyone? I feel like this is supposed to be done in the safety of a room.”                 “Safety?” Ranger thought for a second. “Oh, yeah I get it.”                 Redford shook his head. “We can always take you away as soon as it’s done.”                 I giggled a little as they surrounded me. “With the way you three are already, I’m sure were going to need a saferoom close.”                 Ranger nodded as his hand slid behind my neck, Redford’s rough hands were on my hips, and Royce ran his hand up my stomach to my chest.                 “Um, we need to get going.”                 The triplets groaned in unison as Daniel broke them away from me. Giana was hugged up against his side, and the brothers got into their positions. Royce on my right, Ranger on my left, and Redford directly behind me. I felt like the safest person in the world. I probably was. I knew the pack was going to be either completely on board with this or not. There was going to be some issues, but I was hoping most of this was going to go smoothly.                 The moment Dorian laid his blood red eyes on me his face turned into a scowl. “I see you completely ignored what I told you earlier.”                 I shrugged a little. “Your boys picked out my dress, and your wife did my hair. What would you like me to do about it?”                 “Too late now. You look like a human prostitute.” Dorian said with a huff.                 Redford growled, Royce rolled his eyes, and Ranger clicked his tongue at their father. “I picked out the dress, and I happen to think Sam looks like a goddess in it. If you have an issue, come to us about it.”                 I smiled big as I was guided away from Dorian and to Makah. She smiled big as she received kisses on her cheeks from each triplet. She then turned her attention to me, taking in all of me before saying anything.                 “You look absolutely stunning, my daughter-in-law.”                 “Thank you, Luna.” I said with a slight bow to her.                 Makah shook her head at me. “Not anymore, I’m happily retired. You, my sweet girl, are the new Luna.”                 I nodded. “I keep forgetting that.”                 “Come on, Sam. We will walk you around to meet the pack members.” Ranger said with his hand out for me to take. “Excuse us for a while, mother.”                 “Of course, boys. Just find me later.” She said before pulling her husband away from us.                 Royce leaned in to kiss the side of my neck. “Let’s hurry this up, I’m getting tired of waiting.”                 “You boys have no patience.” I said teasingly.                 Redford huffed. “You just noticed?”
