"What the f**k was that?!" My outburst earns me a lot of prying eyes. The hallways are never without people. So now, I have a full auditorium gawking at me.
"Chester was here, man. That bastard came here. Can you believe it?" Landon grits out. I can picture his grip going hard on the phone, in his attempt to vent.
I squirm slightly, clutching down another outburst fighting its way out. I don't wanna look like a monster in front of all these people.
"What did he want?" It's silly that I still need to ask. And knowing that Landon's answer may just drive me off the edge, I stop him before he even answers. "Don't say it."
