NOVA I nod, understanding Martha’s reluctance. Luna Lyra’s death must still be a raw wound for Alpha Rowan. I feel sorry for him. He’s probably hurting, or maybe not, but I can’t ignore that I feel some tenderness hearing about it. “It’s okay, Martha,” I reassure her, offering her a small smile. “I understand.” Soon we approach the door to my room. “Allow me bid you a good night ma’am,” Martha bows, “do not hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything.” I offer her a grateful nod, silently appreciating her kindness. With a sigh, I turn the door knob, feeling the weight of the evening’s events pressing down on me like a heavy blanket.
