I pace back and forth across the room, my mind whirling with conflicting thoughts. Landon has a point, but I am not convinced.
Sending Nova away with Chester to the Western Packs seems like the most logical choice, I mean, given the current attacks targeted at Nova in the Southern Packs. It was first the wolf’s bane, and now, this.
But the truth of the matter is that letting her go, would be the most cowardly thing to do. Firstly, it would give an idea that I am afraid of the wretched b***h behind all these, secondly, I would look powerless to the rest of the world.
Imagine allowing the mother of my child run to Chester for protection, I would be so f****d up, a laughing stock even, and that mother fucker would never get enough of gloating over it.
