I barely slept a wink last night due to Ace's and my disagreement. He hadn't come for me last night, and I had stayed in bed hoping he would with my tears-soaked eyes.
Waking up to a knock on the door, I wiped my face and sprang to my feet. If it turned out to be Ace, I had concluded on banging the door in his face to show him how pissed I was. I also wouldn't speak no matter how much he would try to make me and it would take more than just revealing his plan to get us working again.
After all, he agreed on us being strangers. He might not have voiced it but his letting me leave without a word proved it.
