My teeth were tightly clenched, and my eyes darkened with fury as I watched the interview from three days ago where Ellen severed our ties. The comment section was a hassle and recognizing that she was in Ryker's camp left me with mixed feelings.
Why had she gone there?
I heard a sigh after the door opened, "you're watching this again?" Meredith picked up the remote and turned it off.
"It's about time you get over it, Ace."
The broken tie left me in pain, added to the one my body was already passing through; it contributed to my confinement to the bed.
Even though Ellen was yet to say anything about it, Ryker had held a press conference and announced their mateship.
