In the five years that passed, Amelia released two albums. Perrie was in them both. The first was released six months after Perrie and Jade’s break-up. It was called Strangers. It had been wildly successful, but reviews had found it disjointed. While most of the songs fit together well, a few were so starkly different, darker than the rest. The album seemed disjointed, rather cobbled together. Fans defended Amelia though, citing the album as a testament to her relationship with Perrie, upbeat and happy with a sudden dark turn.
