Two hours later, Jade had arrived at Waltons just early enough to not seem eager, but also to get there before Danielle. As expected, there had been a crowd waiting outside of her apartment, trying to snap a picture of her. She had waved to them before getting in the car that Gary had waiting for her. Not long after she’d purchased her New York apartment, someone had published its address online, and ever since there had been a crowd outside of her building whenever people knew she was in town. Jade would have loved to walk across town, or even take the subway, but for someone in her position, that simply wasn’t an option.
