To say that Jade was nervous about her plans with Perrie would be an understatement. She was terrified. She was terrified that her girlfriend would think it was too much, or not enough. She was terrified that Perrie would wish they were doing more in the city. She was terrified that the night she had planned for Perrie would be a disaster. Jade’s worries were completely evident to everyone that saw her the morning of Perrie’s arrival, including everyone who was at Amelia’s sound check for the show.
After they finally finished the sound check, Jade retired to her dressing room, trying to pull herself together before the concert started. She was chugging a water bottle, choosing to forgo the Red Bull knowing what Perrie would say, when she heard a knock on her door.
“Come in!” she yelled out, figuring it was Karl coming to tell her to get her s**t together.
“Hey,” Ally greeted as she walked in to the room and took a seat on Jade’s couch. “So you’re a f*****g nervous wreck today.”
Jade didn’t realize she needed some kind of comic relief until Ally spoke, and she let out a loud laugh. “I’m that obvious, aren’t I?”
Ally raised her eyebrows and gave her friend a look that said, ‘are you f*****g serious?’. “From what you’ve told me about your plans for tonight, you really have nothing to worry about.”
“But what if Perrie doesn’t like it?” Jade asked nervously.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” Ally rolled her eyes. “According to Leigh-Anne, Perrie has been so love sick and horny that you could literally just pick her up from the airport and bring her back to your bed and she’d be happy.”
“I really don’t think that would be appropriate Ally,” Jade rolled her eyes, before latching on to the piece of information she had missed upon first hearing Ally’s statement. “You just said, ‘according to Leigh-Anne’, does that mean you’re still talking to her? Why haven’t you mentioned that before?”
Ally simply shrugged, “Both of us have friends who are grossly in love with each other, we each need someone to complain to when you both get unbearable.” Jade knew that there was more to the situation than what Ally was revealing, but she decided not to press the girl on the matter. At least not until later anyway. She would have to ask Perrie though if Leigh-Anne had confided in her at all about her relationship with Ally. “But you know what will get Perrie mad?” Ally continued.
“What?” Jade asked.
“If you f**k up at this concert, to which tickets cost some ridiculous amount of money mind you, Perrie will be pissed and think it was her fault, so get your s**t together, put on your Amelia face and get out there. Give Paris a f*****g awesome show.”
Jade knew that Ally was right, so she mentally shrugged off all her insecurities and shooed Ally out of the room so she could start getting ready. There was nothing she could do to change her plans; Karl had already made all the appropriate reservations after Jade had explained to her what she wanted to do. There was no turning back now. So with the knowledge that she needed to perform well as Amelia, she got changed and got ready to perform.
