“Baby please don’t cry,” I ask her but she keeps on crying.
“Why are you crying?” I ask her, caressing her hair.
“I will miss you,” she says sniffing. Aww, my baby will miss me, I will miss you a lot too.
“I will come soon chiku. Please don’t cry,” I tell her pulling her close to me.
“Hmm,” she hums and closes her eyes keeping her head on my chest.
“Chiku please,” I tell her hearing her sniff again.
She says nothing and keeps on crying silently on my chest. After some time I hear her soft snores and look at her face only to find her sleeping with a frown.I rub her forehead and her frowns disappear and she snuggles more into me. I hug her tightly and fell asleep feeling her warmth.
“Chiku,” I call her to wake her but she is not getting up.
