As Kael walked away from the gathering,his thoughts drifted to his troubled past. He had lost his pack in a brutal attack, and the pain still lingered. His determination to uncover the truth behind the dark rituals was driven by a desire to protect others from suffering the same fate.

Kael’s eye scanned the moonlit landscape, his sense on high Alert. He had been tracking the dark magic for months, following a trail of clues that led him to Lyra’s pack. The Alpha’s female strength and confidence had drawn him in, but he was determined to keep his focus on the task at hand.

As Kael walked a faint scent caught his attention. He followed the smell to a nearby stream, where he splashes water on his face, momentarily forgetting about the gathering. The cook water brought him a sense of calm and for a brief moment, he let his guard down, His thoughts turned to Lyra. He couldn’t deny the attraction he felt towards her, but he was hesitant to get close. His past experiences had taught him to be cautious, and he didn’t want to put Lyra of her pack in danger.

The next day Ryker the pack Beta approach Kael. “So you’re the stranger who’s been poking around our territory”, Ryker said, His voice firm but controlled, Kael met Ryker’s gaze, his eyes locked unto the Beta’s. “I’m here to help Ryker, I’ve been tracking the dark magic and I believe it’s connected to a larger threat”.

“What make you think you’re qualified to handle this ? You’re not even part of our pack”.

Kael jaw clenched. His eyes flashing with determination. “I’ve lost people to this darkness before, and I’m driven to stop it with whatever it takes”.

Ryker’s expression softened slightly, but his tone remained cautious “Alright Kael I will work with you, but I need to know I can trust you, let’s see what you can do”. Ryker said.

With Ryker’s reluctant acceptance. Kael and the Beta began their investigation. They searched the territory, looking for clues and gathering information. As they worked together, Kael’s skill and knowledge impressed Ryker, but the Beta remained vigilant, watching Kael every move.
