Bennett didn’t like misleading Ivy. There was no client he needed to meet with—that had been an outright lie. Still, it was for a good cause, he’d told himself. He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel of his SUV, watching travelers who’d been on overnight flights streaming from the baggage terminal.
