After breakfast, everyone spilled onto the patio in the sunshine of a beautiful, cloudless morning. They were all dressed in colorful beach gear—shorts, tank tops, and a few bathing suits with cover-ups. With her white shorts, Ivy wore one of the bright yellow T-shirts Poppy had made.
