Trish made her way over to Sayde's house and was greeted by a car packed outside the house? She parked on the curb and got out suspiciously eyeing the vehicle parked behind Sayde's truck. "Abi," the concerned voice said before she catch sight of them. She turned towards the voice and saw the son of one of the prominent figures in society. "Mr. Dahael what brings you here?" Trish said in surprise. "I heard that one of our news additions to this town got attacked and wanted to offer them sincere apologises and to make sure they are alright." Trish turned and smiled, "Oh, that's absolutely sweet of you Mr. Dahael, I'm heading back in a minute just came to pick up some stuff to bring back to the hospital so if you want you can meet me there." He nodded in appreciation, "Yes that would be great, I would hate for them to see us in a bad light because of one unrelated incident." Trish beamed with happiness and walked past him and towards the house. "Would you need any help before I go?" Trish shook her head and gave him a small smile, "Nope, just grabbing essentials and I'll be done." "Then I'll wait in case there's anything you need and in case anyone is still lurking in there." Trish paused and turned to look at him, key in hand. This was something she didn't consider because it was daytime but now that he said it. She nodded at him then turned the key in the lock and unlocked the door. She entered the house and was greeted by a small breeze from the back door being opened. She quickly pulled out her phone and took pictures of the area and the opened back door before gently closing and locking the glass door. She tipped-toed around the area and then opened the list. She quickly grabbed the things that was needed and put it into a tote bag. She looked around to see if any unlocked windows needed to be shut and then went back out locking the front door behind her. She heard a small rumble as Mr Dahael got into the car and backed out of the driveway. She gave him a small wave as she headed to her car and returned to the hospital. Thirty minutes later they were back on the hospital compound. They quickly went up to the front desk and the nurse had someone escort them to the room where Sayde was. With a quick knock, Trish entered and motioned for Mr Dahael to wait. She was relieved to see that Sayde was up and propped up against the pillows with a hint of colour returning to her cheeks and more life in her eyes. “Sayde,” Trish said softly as she entered, holding up the bag of clothes. “I brought your things.” She placed the bag gently on the chair by the bedside, her face warm with relief. Sayde looked at her with gratitude and managed a small smile. "Thank you, Trish," she murmured, her voice still soft from sleep and exhaustion. Trish gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. "You're welcome. And… there’s someone here who wanted to check on you. He’s one of the Dahaels, he was at your place when I got there and said that he wanted to personally apologise to you” she said, glancing back toward the door where Audeion stood waiting. "Ah sure," she said hesitantly. 'It couldn't be who she thought it was.' At Trish’s nod, Audeion stepped inside, his expression one of genuine concern. “Miss Bloom, I hope you’re feeling better. I heard what happened and wanted to offer my support. No one should have to go through something like that, especially not in this place.” Sayde’s eyes widened slightly, surprised to see him again, especially under these circumstances but she kept her composure. “Thank you for coming. I… don’t know what happened,” she admitted, her fingers fidgeting with the blanket. Audeion’s gaze softened as he replied, “Just focus on resting for now. We’ll take care of things in town, and you’ll be safe here. We’ll do whatever we can to make sure nothing like this happens again, I'm once again sorry that this happened to you and I promise we will get to the bottom of this.” Sayde nodded, reassured by his words and the strength in his tone. She felt a strange comfort in his presence—a comfort she couldn't quite understand but trusted instinctively. They went outside to give her some privacy and allow her to rest, once outside the room, Audeion and Trish moved to a quiet corner of the hallway, speaking in hushed tones to avoid disturbing other patients. "Thank you for watching out for her," Audeion said, his voice low and earnest. "It's good she has someone here who cares, especially with everything that's been happening in Daysville." Trish nodded, her expression filled with concern. "I'm just glad I got here when I did, Audeion. They left her alone and barely conscious outside the hospital," she replied, anger simmering beneath her words. "God knows what would've happened if they dropped her off anywhere else, she's new here no one would really know if she was missing or not." "Does she have any family to contact?" "Not that she's mentioned," Trish shook her head sadly at the thought. "She mentioned that the assailant mentioned that they could smell him on her, she's only been here a few days so I'm not even sure what that's about." She rubbed her temples in frustration "Someone even mentioned 'smelling' something on her—something about him. She's only been here a few days." Audeion's expression darkened, his jaw tightening. He knew enough to sense what might be happening beneath the surface. If rogue wolves had attacked Sayde thinking she was close to him, it meant they were paying more attention to his life than he'd thought, and while he wanted to reassure Trish, he couldn't deny the troubling signs this attack suggested. He reached into his coat pocket, pulling out a business card with his contact information neatly printed on it. Handing it to Trish, he said, "Please give this to her when she's ready. If anything like this happens again, I want her to be able to reach me—day or night." Trish accepted the card with a serious nod, slipping it into her pocket. "I'll make sure she gets it, and I'll check in on her for a while just to be safe." With a final nod, Audeion said his goodbyes, turning down the hallway with his thoughts racing. The signs were unsettling as if rogue wolves had been watching Daysville closely. This attack wasn't random, and the fact they'd mentioned "him" could mean they couldn't smelt his scent from him interacting with her earlier that day. The whole reason he hadn't knelt beside her bed with concern was that he wasn't sure who was watching or listening. He didn't want anyone asking her any invasive questions either. He took a deep breath and sighed his only hope is that she messaged him soon so he could finally get to talk to her. He'd have to tread carefully to keep her out of further danger. His heart ached slightly, he didn't want to leave her but he'd have to count on Trish to take care of her while he couldn't, for now, all he could do was make sure she knew she wasn't alone.
