I entered my room and texted Emma but she wasn't responding. I could tell she was busy, so I got busy too until the maids came to let me know that dinner was ready.
I made my way to the dining room and found that Emily was sitting on my chair. Hope was around so I just had to act normal.
“Mommy, did you ask Aunt Emily to take your seat?" Hope asked.
" No, really, sweetie, she's just there for today,” I said, looking at her.
Everyone was having breakfast as usual but I only took in milk and salad. After a few minutes, we went back to our rooms. Hope had some friends who came over, so I arranged the playroom for them.
I was wondering why Luis didn't join us for dinner just to be told that he had left for work.
“Aren't you supposed to be with him?" I asked David.
