I shut the door the moment Emily walked out. I can't believe she has so much ego already.
I then took a seat on the couch while running my hand through my hair when it touched the necklace.
I went to see what it looked like on me in the mirror and I could tell Luis didn't lie. I was still glued to the mirror when a knock sounded on my door again, and I just had to make sure it wasn't Emily again.
“It's Annie," she said when I went to open the door.
I could tell she was also confused. We closed the door the moment she walked in, and I then asked if she had made up her mind to tell Luis.
