I did it again, and I am not sure what happened to my fear, but my aim is something I am not going to lose sight of. I left to take a shower and then returned to dress up, only to see Luis waiting for me on the couch.
“Are you OK?" he asked, running his hands through his hair.
"Yes, I am OK," I grinned while applying lotion as I noticed him heading towards me in the mirror.
"May I?" he inquired, eager to rub lotion on my back.
“Sure," I responded with a smile.
It was getting dark, and I knew everything was going to proceed as planned, so I kept a calm demeanor not to raise suspicion. We left and said our goodbyes to my uncle and aunt before stepping outdoors.
As soon as we approached our car, an officer arrived with an arrest order for Luis.
